AC/DC Members Perform With 'Classic Rock Cares' In New Jersey; Photos Available

July 15, 2007

Photos from the July 13, 2007 Atlantic City, New Jersey stop on the current "Classic Rock Cares" tour — featuring AC/DC's Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams, Joe Lynn Turner (ex-RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE) and a bevy of special guests — have been posted at Wire Image.

Classic Rock Cares concerts are a series of fundraising concerts which benefit the John Entwistle Foundation. The foundation, named for THE WHO's late bassist, provides free music education and instruments for underprivileged children through the public library system.

Backed by a group of world-class musicians led by drummer Steve Luongo of THE JOHN ENTWISTLE BAND, Turner sings the best of DEEP PURPLE and RAINBOW. Johnson and Williams, joined by Luongo and Mark Hitt, perform AC/DC's record-breaking hits along with their own new material.

The non-stop classic rock show culminates with all of the participating musicians taking part in a raucous "Highway to Hell" finale.

As previously reported, video footage from the "Classic Rock Cares" tour has been posted at YouTube:
